Getting Started with ClawVPS: Your First AI Agent in 5 Minutes

What is ClawVPS?
ClawVPS is a fully managed VPS platform purpose-built for hosting OpenClaw AI assistants. Unlike traditional VPS providers where you get a blank server and figure out everything else yourself, ClawVPS ships with OpenClaw pre-installed, SSL configured, and your gateway token pre-generated.

Step 1: Access Your Dashboard
After signing up, log into the ClawVPS dashboard at clawvps.ai/login. You'll see your active instance card with the server's IP address and current status.
Click Manage on your instance card. This opens the OpenClaw control panel where you'll manage everything about your AI agent.
Step 2: Pair Your Devices
Access the Webchat UI, approve your main device for Webchat UI. For connecting the channels, connect them from "Channels" section in your instance management section.
Once your main device is approved for Webchat UI, You can ask your bot to approve or reject the channel pairing requests.
Step 3: Configure Your First Model
By default, ClawVPS ships all the instances with pre-configured API key for you + the AI credit balance you get with every instance.
To connect more providers:
- Go to Providers in the dashboard
- Add your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or OpenRouter) - 42 Total providers supported.
- Add new models and set a default model under Models
Your assistant will now use your preferred model for all conversations.
